I have a Hp laptop and im supposed to get my windows 7 upgrade kit & want to know what happens to programs?
I have a hp laptop and I'm eligible for the windows 7 upgrade and I should be getting my kit soon, but my question is what will happen to all the preinstalled programs that came with my computer such as Microsoft office and windows movie maker? also I have Norton anti-virus and it's a one year subscription so what will happen to that will it still be on the windows 7 when I upgrade? thanks
just follow the upgrade instructions and your programs remain intact
except Win 7 doesn't include movie maker
I seem to recall it's downloadable from microsoft but I won't guarantee it.
Go to microsoft.com and search for 'download movie maker'
