Is it legal for a highway patrol to misled me like this?
I was caugh this morning and feel that this highway patrol is really unethical.
i was following him at a speed of 82 mile on a freeway with speed limit 65. After a while, he took off at a speed of 130-140 mile /hour and dissapeared in 5 seconds. i was still on the free way with the same speed 82, five minutes later, the patrol show up behind me and pull me over and gave a overspeed ticket. Apparently he run away and hide behind the bush and waiting for me to caught me. i felt i was traped, any experience can share with me? should i hire a lawer?

Ummm......you thought doing 82 in a 65 with a highway patrolman right in front of you was a good idea?
It's too bad he could not give you a ticket for stupidity.
I don't think going into court and saying "but your honor, the officer was speeding too" is a very good defense. That's not likely to work for you.
