Need help fixing a dress!?
I am going to a formal, but the dress I have doesn't quite follow dress code. I got a lack lace cami for the neckline issue, but the straps have to be 3 fingers wide. Anything I can sew on or add to make it follow code but look like it was made that way?(Yes, I thought about finding the same color fabric and sewing it on, but this has kind of a black netting type overlay so it's kinda hard...) Thanks in advance!

wow hun, its hard not to point out you could have done better finding a dress that just matches your code...
Have you thought about a shawl or shrug to add to it?
sewing some lace would be easy on the outside of the strap... even add it all the way around the opening...
you know the color of the embroidery on the bottom? try to match it in a lace...
then sew it on the outside of the strap.. you could make it thicker up over the shoulder than under the arm...
