Help with cat?
Ok- first of all I would like to thank all of you who helped me with ideas for names for my cat! I ended up naming her Wilma because my dog that she just adores- his name is Fred. And she answers to Wilma so it's just perfect. So the next step is a collar. I was going to get her a white collar because Wilma Flinston has that white rock necklace so I thought that would be cute.
ok I was wondering what the best brand/ kind of collar you all like. Also for some details about the collar that you like etc. What is the best fabric to use also (She is an all outdoor cat because we found her as a stray and haven't had the time to look into litter box training quite yet)
My "What's the difference question is- What's the difference between a safety collar and a breakaway collar?

A safety collar usually has a piece of elastic attaching the two ends of the collar together so that it stretches wider and they can free thier head if they get caught up on something.
A break away does just that... it breaks away completly from a buckle that unsnaps if the cat were to get caught and pull on it trying to free itself.
I don't put collars on my cats(indoor only) , but if I did I recommend the breakaway. I just feel it's safer as we had a bad instance where a safety collar would not let the cat free.
