Does leg resistance training get affected if i do cardio running before recovering?
I do leg exercises such as lunges, squats and jump squats, and normally my muscles ache for a day or two after I do them. I also tend to do cardio, mostly about 35-45 minutes of running everyday. Should I wait until my legs stop aching before running or is it okay to keep running everyday?
its "ok" in that you won't cause yourself permenant harm, but if you want to add muscle to your legs, you need to let them heal sufficiently before exerting them again--otherwise the healing will be blunted and you won't bulk up as fast.
if you're looking to lose fat, then expending calories is what you're after, and cardio would be best.
you should chose either building muscle or loosing fat, then follow a routine for your choice for two weeks before changing. Its not really practical to do both at the same time.
