give the power band for different gears in order to use the fuel efficiently?

efficiency of fuel is good when the speed is within the power band. Pl tell me the power band for each gears.

Another answer already mentioned RPMs.

So, get a stick shift, and shift into the highest gear that you possibly can as soon as possible, leave it there as long as possible, and don't hit the brakes. Keep the RPM needle as low as possible in relation to the speedometer . That might sound overly simplistic, but long-story short, this is what you wind up doing if you are running out of gas and need to make it to the next gas station.

It is a myth that driving slowly saves gas. In general, maybe, but specifically, no. If the speed limit is 30, and the road is all down hill, you waste gas by braking down to 30. If you just let the car coast, even if it reaches 50, you saved gas, and the momentum will take you half-way up the next hill.
Not only that, but at 30, braking down a hill, your car is idling. If the hill is 2 miles long, it takes 4 minutes to get there at 30. So your engine is idling for 4 minutes. Meanwhile, if you are coasting at 50, with your engine at the same idle speed, you've gone 2 miles, and your engine only idled for less than 3 minutes.
Speed limits and stop signs are the biggest waste of gas.
