Your are doing some plyometric training with a client. Your are having her do depth jumps from a 1 meter platform. If her mass is 60 kg, what would her total mechanical energy when she is half way to the ground ( .5m) if her vertical veloctiy at the point is 1 m/s
Her GPE is m*g*h
GPE = 60*9.8*0.5
GPE = 294J
Her KE = 0.5*m*v²
KE = 0.5*60*1²
KE = 30J
Total mechanical energy= 294 + 30 = 324J
