How do I stick nylon netting onto the window?

I plan to put nylon netting over my window so that I can have wind coming into my room but still keep bugs out. How should I do it? Please don't tell me to use sticky tape or super glue lol. They won't work on old walls/windows in this apartment. Thanks!

I hope you are talking about using nylon window screening, and not nylon sewing netting. The sewing netting has holes that are too big to keep out some bugs. You didn't describe exactly what you want to attach the netting to, and still be able to open and close the window, and whether you can use any kind of mechanical fasteners, like staples or small brads. Or whether you have a casement or double hung window. So, easiest solution, possibly incurring the wrath of the home improvement gurus, duct tape. Its not weather proof, if it gets wet it will peel off, but it sticks pretty darn good to most things, and its cheap, you can always put more on. Another thought, try finding one of those screens that sits in the opening of your window. They usually slide in and out to be wider/narrower, you open the window and set this into the opening, and the weight of the window keeps it in place. They aren't very expensive, and no sticky tape residue to deal with.
