What should I look for in purchasing a low cost portable Basketball Hoop w/base?
I want to buy my sons, ages 13 and 9 a portable basketball hoop system for Christmas.
I'm not sure what to look for. I like a clear backboard I think. I'm not sure how the strength of the base or the baseboard is qualified.
I like this one but the base looks kind of small.

Can anyone tell me what I should look for? Are certain brands better than others? At Sports Authority they have Spaulding, Huffy and Lifetime brands.
I don't know where to begin and you can spend from $100-1000 on one! I want to spend under $200, preferably around $150.

i think that one is fine. your kids are young and they dont need the finest one or the strongest one since they are small they wont be dunking it.
