putting the ball on a captive hoop lip ring?
I've been trying to put the little ball in but i cant. It has dimples not holes. Any advice on how to put it on easily?
It's all trial and error. You really aren't "supposed" to use a captive bead ring unless you have closure plier. But like most of us using our hands, you just have to align the bead correctly in your hand and try to fit it in the ring. You will get better with practice, I know it is frustrating!!!
I've found that the best way to do it is to position the bead in between your thumb & forefinger so that the little dimples are facing out on either side of the fingers, if that makes sense. Then hold the ring with your other hand, with the opening held still, and try to push the ball in.
