Help! A warning to future basketball pole owners?
I have had my spalding 60 in backboard system installed for the last week and just yesterday I realized the bolts anchoring the system into the ground are defective. The bolts on the left side split so I am left with an unsafe pole and $50 of concrete wasted as the remaining portion of the pole is still stuck in the concrete. Spalding and Mc sports have been contacted but to no avail. What should I do? And how can I compensate for the countless hours spent installing the pole and concrete as well as the cost of the concrete itself?
ps. Do not buy Spalding brand basketball systems. Piece of junk. I'm investing in a goalsetter system next.
