What are some brands of inexpensive good quality full size acoustic guitars?
I'm a beginner and I have no idea what brands are good. I don't have much money but I DON'T want to end up with a bad guitar! Something like under 200$. Know of any? Will a guitar that's not full size sound the same? What's the differences between them besides the size?
Size has a lot to do with the way it sounds as in broadcast and tone, the way its built also has a lot to do with it, basically just look for a standard dreadnought and avoid the hoopla of cheap brand names made in China like Squire by Fender or Maestro by Gibson, or anything from Walmart Target, Best Buy, Toys R Us, and the likes, find a good music store or guitar shop and see whats in your price range, ones to keep in mind would be Epiphone, Ibanez, Alverez, Hohner, Washburn, Dean, Takemine, avoid anything with the words Nato wood or laminated, and you should be fine.
once you get past that you can start looking at Guild, Taylor, Gibson, Martin, and a few others
