On skate uk 3 and 4 how long do i have to glide one foot on a curve?
Recently i asked a question how long i have to glide on 1 leg on a straight line. Now i would like to know how long i have to glide one foot on a curve? Could some one who has already completed skate uk 3 and 4 please tell me how long they had to glide for on a curve.

i coach the skate uk courses, all depends how you are taught the one foot glide on a curve, do you start from stand still from a line and hold for as long as pos, or do you skate round a circle and lift leg and hold? i teach them round the circle and ask them to hold the position for 3-4 seconds but not fast counting somewhere like 1ice skating 2iice skating 3iceskating and so on. as long as you give the coach long enough to clearly see you are holding the edge and can balance for a number of seconds and not just lift and put down.
