how are the kansas city chiefs the AFC west division champs when they are 3-2 and oakland is 5-0 in division?
i undstand that kansas city has a better overall record and better conference record... i just thought that the team who did better in the division one the division championship and got the playoff spot... i mean if that's not how it works why even have a division championship... not sayin the raiders are great not even a big fan... the fact is though they owned there division that should count for something... i can see the whole havin a sub .500 team in playoffs deal, but hey any given sunday who's too say the raiders can't go in and shock the world... no one thought the giants would win when they did and no one thought the cardinals were gonna make it too the super bowl when they did... they nfl just gets more confusing on a weekly basis... so i guess division play means nothing help me out understanding this...
it is because of the rules.
