What size should my Cleats be?
Hi, i need to buy cleats for football and i want to know what size i should get, i am a size 7 on regular shoes, and when i check youth cleats highest size was 6 and mens the lowest was like 9. What is my size?
Go to a store who carries more sizes. Stores should have all sizes. Try them on with whatever socks you'll wear for football.
Don't worry about the ankle brace if you wear one. I've always worn one due to ankle fractures and the cleat will fit fine with it.
Some styles of cleats run narrow. IMO Nike runs narrow and reebok runs wide. I have wide feet and never found a comfortable pair of Nikes.
Never let someone tell you that you need to "break them in". Todays cleats aren't made that way. You'll just end up with blisters.
Don't listen to people who say buy them big or small. Buy them to fit.
You could go to a used sporting goods store. You can usually get a pair pretty cheap.
I bought my 9 year old his cleats a half size bigger, only because he was in a growth spurt.
Usually whatever size you wear for sneakers you wear for cleats, in that brand.
Always go and try them on, you'll avoid having to return them when they don't fit...
