How to bolt down a subwoofer box?
I have a jeep cherokee that has been broken into and i want to bolt down my subwoofer box.If anyone knows how and what tools and hardware i would need it would be greatly appreciated.
this is what im planning on doing.... listen to this, its perfect. change the box to a bandpass, then you need to use the child seat bolts mounted to the frame. drill a hole in the bottom of the box where the bolt will go and set it in there. (no sub mounted yet) use a bolt to attach it to the cars frame using washers to seal the hole in the box. THEN put the sub in, after the sub is in put the plexiglass back on. nobody who breaks into cars will take the time to figure out why the box wont come out, they will try grabbing it and it wont move at all so they will leave. also you can try disguising the box as a cardboard box. assuming the back windows are kinda tinted, at night nobody will be able to tell its a sub box.
