what arm do u wear a basketball sleeve on?

ive seen people wear it on their shooting arm, their opposite arm, and sometimes both. so im not sure which?

I reccomend wearing it on the shooting arm because it mkaes your arm flick harder for a better controlled shot.
Thats why its called a shooting sleeve, i dont understand why anyone wears it on the oppisite arm or both.
